There are so many different interpretations when it comes to reading the Bible. How can we know which one is correct? Is there only one correct meaning? When should I take the Bible literally or allow for a more figurative approach?

This 5 week course teaches how to use the relevant tools, techniques and processes in order to interpret the meaning of the words of the Bible. We will study the importance of Genre, background, context, language and word meanings, putting these concepts into practice in actual Bible passages.
