There are many places in the Bible where God offers to ‘come close’ to us. He desires spiritual connection with his people. This is the difference between religion and a relationship. But how do you form a relationship with someone you cannot see, touch, or hear? How do I know the difference between God’s voice and my own imagination. This is the struggle that many Christians have. Even though the Bible says we have God’s Spirit in our hearts, a surprising number of people still find this intimacy with God difficult. During this Equip Course of ‘Intimacy with God’ we will look at topics such as, what God says about it, the blockages to intimacy, learning two way communication, and allowing God to stretch you spiritually. The course has practical projects as well as biblical reflection.
